Why "totally indexed," not "a blog"
Most Venice content online is either a listicle chasing this month's search trends, or a wall of forum threads with no clear structure. We wanted something closer to a card catalogue: every page filed under a clear department, so you can actually find the specific thing you need instead of scrolling past everything you don't.
How we work
Every page on this site is written to be genuinely useful first — accurate practical details, honest trade-offs, and a clear sense of what something actually costs or involves — rather than optimised purely to rank in search results. We would rather have a page we are confident in than one padded out to look comprehensive.
Corrections and updates
Venice's practical details — fees, ticket prices, transport rules — change. If you spot something out of date, the contact page is the fastest way to flag it.
